{"id":75664,"date":"2025-09-25T06:01:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T06:01:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=75664"},"modified":"2025-09-25T06:01:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T06:01:47","slug":"fg-announces-all-hands-on-deck-as-theme-for-65th-independence-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/09\/25\/fg-announces-all-hands-on-deck-as-theme-for-65th-independence-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"FG Announces \u2018All Hands on Deck\u2019 as Theme for 65th Independence Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government has unveiled \u201cNigeria @ 65: All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation\u201d as the official theme for the country\u2019s 2025 Independence Day celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the theme underscores the need for unity, collaboration, and patriotism among government institutions, the private sector, civil society, and citizens in advancing peace, progress, and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>It added that the theme reflects Nigeria\u2019s resilience since independence in 1960 and highlights the importance of consolidating past achievements while pursuing future aspirations in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The government further directed ministries, agencies, and partners to align their programmes and communications with the anniversary theme to ensure broad national engagement.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the official programme of events, a special Juma\u2019at prayer will hold on Friday, September 26, followed by an inter-denominational church service on Sunday, September 28.<\/p>\n<p>A World Press Conference is scheduled for Monday, September 29 in Abuja to commemorate the milestone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata The Federal Government has unveiled \u201cNigeria @ 65: All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation\u201d as the official theme for the country\u2019s 2025 Independence Day celebrations.
