However, the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana Esq., announced the new date in a statement issued on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>In the notice titled \u201cReschedule of the Resumption Date of Plenary Activities in the National Assembly,\u201d Ogunlana explained that while plenary sessions remain postponed, activities of various committees will continue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am directed by the presiding officers of both Chambers of the National Assembly to inform all members and the general public that the resumption date earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 23rd September 2025, is postponed to Tuesday, 7th October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members are requested to take note of the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly.
