Wasilat Adegoke, who assured them of the state government\u2019s full support and encouragement ahead of the decisive match.<\/p>\n<p>The Falconets arrived in Ibadan on the back of a 1-0 first-leg victory in Kigali, with Alaba Olabiyi scoring the winner.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the squad, Captain Igbokwe expressed gratitude to the state government and pledged that the players would give their best to secure qualification and make the nation proud.<\/p>\n<p>As two-time World Cup silver medalists, the Falconets are determined to extend their remarkable record as the only African team to have qualified for every edition of the tournament since its inception in 2002.<\/p>\n<p>Their depth, experience, and consistency are expected to be key factors as they aim for another successful qualification, this time for Poland 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Njoku Chijioke &nbsp; Nigeria\u2019s U-20 women\u2019s national team, the Falconets, has opened camp in Ibadan, Oyo State, as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women\u2019s World Cup qualifier against Rwanda\u2019s She-Amavubi.
