{"id":75450,"date":"2025-09-12T16:00:45","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T16:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=75450"},"modified":"2025-09-12T16:00:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T16:00:45","slug":"court-orders-tenant-to-vacate-abuja-property-in-one-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/09\/12\/court-orders-tenant-to-vacate-abuja-property-in-one-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Court Orders Tenant to Vacate Abuja Property in One Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Patrick Idowu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An Abuja Magistrates\u2019 Court sitting in Wuse on Thursday ordered a 31-year-old tenant to vacate a property within one week.<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate Farida Ibrahim gave the ruling after the defendant pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal intimidation.<\/p>\n<p>She directed that all fittings claimed to have been installed by the defendant must remain in the property, though he could file a separate suit to recover expenses.<\/p>\n<p>The magistrate further ordered the defendant to sign an undertaking to maintain peace while removing his belongings and instructed the complainant to grant him access to do so.<\/p>\n<p>He was granted bail in the sum of N1 million with one surety in like amount.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, prosecution counsel C.C.
