Young Catholics from across Nigeria have been challenged to rise above mediocrity and pursue spiritual and personal excellence, as the Inspire Youth Network Nigeria (IYNN) successfully concluded its 2025 Youth Camping Meeting in Gbessa.<\/p>\n
The four-day gathering, organized under the patronage of newly canonized Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, drew vibrant participation from youths eager to strengthen their faith while building bonds of friendship.<\/p>\n
In his keynote address themed \u201cVerso l\u2019Alto: To Greater Heights\u201d, the Network\u2019s founder, Rev. Fr. Victor Ogunyemi, urged young people to embrace discipline, intentionality, and sacrifice as pathways to growth.<\/p>\n
He linked the call to Revelation 4:1, where John was invited to \u201ccome up higher\u201d to receive God\u2019s revelation, stressing that youths must also step up in faith, evangelization, and study.<\/p>\n
The program blended spirituality with recreation, including Masses, Rosary processions, sports, community service, bonfire nights, and the \u201cFace of Frassati\u201d contest, which was won by Miss Kenneth Precious.<\/p>\n
Interactive sessions, led by Rev. Fr. Nelson Olagunju of Osogbo Diocese, deepened participants\u2019 understanding of the sacraments as channels of grace and service.<\/p>\n
At the closing Thanksgiving Mass, participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to grow in faith and prayed for Blessed Frassati\u2019s intercession to help them live out the camp\u2019s call to aim higher in all aspects of life.<\/p>\n
