{"id":75012,"date":"2025-09-06T05:59:30","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T05:59:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=75012"},"modified":"2025-09-07T05:42:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T05:42:07","slug":"fg-sports-commission-partner-on-creative-tourism-and-sports-hub-in-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/09\/06\/fg-sports-commission-partner-on-creative-tourism-and-sports-hub-in-abuja\/","title":{"rendered":"FG, Sports Commission Partner on Creative, Tourism, Sports Hub in Abuja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Omoniyi David<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy (FMACTCE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the National Sports Commission (NSC), to establish a world-class Arts, Cultural, Creative, Tourism, and Sports Innovation Hub at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement, sealed on Thursday, is designed to harness Nigeria\u2019s creative, cultural, and sporting potential to empower young people, stimulate economic growth, and boost global visibility.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Hannatu Musa Musawa described the initiative as \u201ca new dawn\u201d for the creative and sporting industries, stressing that it aligns with President Bola Tinubu\u2019s agenda of job creation, economic diversification, and tackling insecurity through sports and culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor young Nigerians, one of the President\u2019s priorities is building a better future through sports and the creative industry.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This partnership can empower the next generation, preserve our culture, and provide capacity building,\u201d Musawa said.<\/p>\n<p>NSC Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, pledged full commitment to the project, noting that the Moshood Abiola Stadium would be transformed into a sports city.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must revamp our sports facilities.
