{"id":74229,"date":"2025-08-26T08:42:01","date_gmt":"2025-08-26T08:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=74229"},"modified":"2025-08-26T08:42:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-26T08:42:01","slug":"nigerias-oil-output-rises-to-1-71m-barrels-daily-in-july-nuprc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/08\/26\/nigerias-oil-output-rises-to-1-71m-barrels-daily-in-july-nuprc\/","title":{"rendered":"Nigeria\u2019s Oil Output Rises to 1.71m Barrels Daily in July -NUPRC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Samuel Adeola<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nigeria\u2019s crude oil and condensate production rose to an average of 1.71 million barrels per day (bpd) in July 2025, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), has announced.<br \/>\nThe figure, released in a statement on Monday, comprises 1.507 million bpd of crude oil and 204,864 bpd of condensates.<br \/>\nIt represents a 0.89 per cent increase from the 1.69 million bpd recorded in June and a 9.9 per cent rise compared to July 2024 output of 1.56 million bpd.<br \/>\nAccording to the NUPRC, the Forcados terminal led production with 9.04 million barrels in July, up 2.1 per cent from June.<\/p>\n<p>Bonny output climbed 12.7 per cent to 8.07 million barrels, while Qua Iboe dropped slightly to 4.55 million barrels from 5.08 million in June.<br \/>\nEscravos production rose 7.1 per cent to 4.47 million barrels, Bonga output grew 4.2 per cent to 3.68 million, and Odudu (Amenam Blend) added 2.9 per cent to 2.12 million.<br \/>\nTulja-Okwuibome output inched up 2.8 per cent to 2.08 million barrels.<\/p>\n<p>The Brass terminal recorded the sharpest growth, surging 27 per cent to 1.12 million barrels.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), confirmed Nigeria\u2019s average daily crude oil output at 1.50 million bpd for July.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Samuel Adeola Nigeria\u2019s crude oil and condensate production rose to an average of 1.71 million barrels per day (bpd) in July 2025, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), has announced.
