{"id":74065,"date":"2025-08-25T05:49:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T05:49:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=74065"},"modified":"2025-08-25T05:49:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-25T05:49:25","slug":"obasanjo-abdulsalami-to-lead-launch-of-care365-health-hub-in-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/08\/25\/obasanjo-abdulsalami-to-lead-launch-of-care365-health-hub-in-abuja\/","title":{"rendered":"Obasanjo, Abdulsalami to Lead Launch of Care365 Health Hub in Abuja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Olokuta Rofiat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and ex-Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd.), will headline the unveiling of the Care365 Health Hub on September 2, 2025, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>General Abdulsalami will serve as Chief Host and Chairman of the event, while Obasanjo will chair the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, is expected to officially commission the hub, with former President Goodluck Jonathan as Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n<p>Other dignitaries expected at the occasion include the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, state governors, federal ministers, senior government officials, industry leaders from oil and gas, telecommunications, and insurance, as well as members of the international community.<\/p>\n<p>The Care365 Health Hub, first conceptualised in the United States, is designed to transform healthcare delivery in Nigeria through innovative facilities and platforms.<\/p>\n<p>These include the Care365 Health Monitoring Kiosk, a smart self-service station for checking vital signs such as blood pressure, sugar level, body mass index, and oxygen levels; the Care365 Mobile Clinic, a flexible facility to take medical services to underserved and remote areas; and the Care365 Telemedicine App, a mobile and web platform for virtual consultations, e-prescriptions, referrals, and health record management.<\/p>\n<p>It also incorporates a Specialist Doctors Pool, a network of medical experts from the United States, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Nigeria, offering global-standard healthcare access.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ngozi Joseph Odumuko, CEO and Founder of Care365 Health Hub, the initiative reflects a strong commitment to bridging gaps in healthcare delivery, extending services to more Nigerians, and integrating cutting-edge technology with both local and international expertise.<\/p>\n<p>The unveiling is expected to attract wide attention as government leaders, medical experts, and industry players converge on Abuja for what many describe as a turning point in Nigeria\u2019s health sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Olokuta Rofiat Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and ex-Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd.), will headline the unveiling of the Care365 Health Hub on September 2, 2025, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
