The Governor, addressing concerns about certain Civil Society Organisations, urged authorities to scrutinize their activities, suggesting they might be agents of destabilization. He emphasized the need for security agencies to profile these organizations to filter out those not invested in the growth of Imo State.<\/p>\n
Governor Uzodimma underscored the vital role of Orlu Zone in Imo politics, asserting that no government, present or future, could govern Imo State without the contribution of Orlu Zone. He praised his kinsmen for their support and contributions to his success, recognizing their significance in the state’s economic activities.<\/p>\n
Highlighting the commitment shown by INEC and security agencies during the election, he stated that despite attempts to breed insecurity and confusion, they failed. The Governor called for unity to develop Orlu physically and spiritually, pledging to do more and better in his second tenure.<\/p>\n
Leaders from Orlu, including Senator Osita Izunaso and various traditional and political figures, acknowledged the Governor’s hard work, thanking God for his overwhelming victory.
