While 28 passengers chose to return home, 30 accepted the accommodation offer.<\/p>\n<p>Achimugu added that arrangements have been made to airlift them to their destination the following morning and that eligible passengers can claim compensation.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on his X handle, Achimugu urged travellers facing delays or cancellations to contact NCAA Consumer Protection Officers at the terminal to ensure their rights to care are upheld.<\/p>\n<p>Some passengers expressed dissatisfaction, with social media user @NewDawnNaija23 calling for the NCAA to investigate the interior conditions of aircraft operated by foreign airlines in Nigeria, citing poor service despite high ticket prices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Huldah Shado The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has confirmed that 58 passengers were denied boarding after an airline discovered a faulty door on one of its aircraft.
