You cannot really improve an economy unless it\u2019s stable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Okonjo-Iweala described Tinubu\u2019s reforms as \u201cin the right direction\u201d but stressed the need to focus on growth and cushioning citizens from the impact of policy changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe now need to grow the economy and put in social safety nets so that people feeling the pinch of the reforms can have some support,\u201d she said. \u201cHow do we build these safety nets to cushion the hardship?
