Dakas (SAN), as Chairman of the Nigeria Law Reform Commission, alongside Dr. Uchenna Okolocha, sworn in as Commissioner representing the South-South.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was held at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja, and was immediately followed by the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Both appointments were confirmed by the Senate in July after a screening by the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, chaired by Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire (Ondo Central).<\/p>\n<p>The committee affirmed that the nominees met all legal and professional requirements, demonstrated integrity, and faced no petitions or security concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The Nigeria Law Reform Commission is responsible for reviewing and updating federal laws to ensure they reflect contemporary realities and the evolving needs of Nigerian society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday inaugurated Professor Dakas C.J.
