However, the event was abruptly put on hold indefinitely, with no official explanation from his camp.<\/p>\n<p>Political watchers suggest the delay may be linked to rumoured efforts within the ADC to bring Jonathan into the 2027 presidential race, a move that could significantly alter the party\u2019s internal power dynamics.<\/p>\n<p>ADC\u2019s 2023 presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, has strongly opposed the unfolding developments, accusing Atiku and other recent entrants of attempting to hijack the party.
