Joseph Utsev, disclosed this in Abuja while presenting the 2025 Annual Flood Outlook. He said the forecast, compiled by the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), indicated that several communities could experience high to severe flooding due to expected above-normal rainfall and river overflow.<\/p>\n<p>According to the outlook, the high-risk period will peak between August and October, affecting both riverine and inland areas.
