Her death occurred on Saturday in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, and was confirmed on Wednesday via a statement posted on her official Instagram page.<\/p>\n<p>Mack, born Kelley Klebenow, died peacefully with her mother and aunt at her side, according to the family\u2019s announcement. A memorial service will take place on August 16 at the Glendale Lyceum in Glendale, Ohio, with a separate celebration of life planned in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2025, Mack revealed that she had been diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma, a rare and aggressive form of astrocytoma cancer. She shared that the illness had affected her mobility, requiring her to use a walker and wheelchair.<\/p>\n<p>A statement from her sister described Mack as \u201ca bright, fervent light\u201d and commended her courage in facing the illness. \u201cI\u2019m so proud of her,\u201d the statement read. \u201cShe would want you all to know how much she loves you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mack began acting early in life and gained widespread recognition for playing Addy in AMC\u2019s The Walking Dead.<\/p>\n<p>She later starred as Penelope Jacobs in NBC\u2019s Chicago Med.
