Of course, he is a politician and I\u2019m a politician. What is wrong when politicians meet each other?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When asked if the meeting was connected to the 2027 general elections, Wike declined to offer specifics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy would I tell you what I\u2019m planning for 2027? You\u2019ll know when the time comes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Abure, during his party\u2019s National Executive Committee (NEC), meeting in Abuja on July 22, 2025, also clarified the purpose of the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast week, I met with the FCT Minister, and it attracted a lot of comments, misconceptions, and talk about the photographs,\u201d Abure explained.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that the visit was personal, not political.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI live in the FCT, and Nyesom Wike is the Minister. As a Nigerian, I have the right to interface with any public officer in the federal government.
