There\u2019s always two sides to every story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her tweet drew mixed reactions, prompting her to issue a follow-up: \u201cNo cyberbully can take away my right to express my opinion.<\/p>\n<p>Not everything is about politics, but that is something some of you will never understand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An X user, @jussstice09, responded with the comment, \u201cYou no go die well ma,\u201d which sparked outrage from Bashir El-Rufai. He replied, \u201cIf you ever utter that phrase to my mother again &amp; delete that tweet, I am going to find you (it\u2019s easier than you think) and unalive you and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr El-Rufai\u2019s comment was quickly deleted, and he did not respond to inquiries from Peoples Gazette.<\/p>\n<p>The tweet has drawn widespread condemnation and raised concerns over his history of incendiary statements online.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in March, he faced backlash after threatening increased bloodshed in Southern Kaduna if attacks on Fulani people continued; a post he later deleted and apologized for.<\/p>\n<p>He also once mocked Nigerians demanding justice for missing government critic Abubakar \u2018Dadiyatta\u2019 Idris, saying his disappearance was a \u201cgood consequence\u201d for lying to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Bashir El-Rufai remains a polarizing figure on social media for his aggressive tone and controversial views.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Merciful Omoba Bashir El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has stirred controversy after threatening to kill a Nigerian X user in a now-deleted tweet.
