The agency specifically warned of a high likelihood of flooding in Adamawa, Taraba, and Bauchi.<\/p>\n<p>In the central region, states such as Benue, Niger, Kogi, Nasarawa, and the Federal Capital Territory are expected to experience light morning showers, which will spread to Plateau, Kwara, and surrounding areas by afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>In the southern states, the day is forecast to begin with cloudy skies and light rain in Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ogun, Edo, Delta, Lagos, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Bayelsa, with heavier rains expected later in the day. NiMet highlighted the risk of flooding in Oyo, Ogun, Edo, and Delta.<\/p>\n<p>By Tuesday, morning thunderstorms are anticipated in Taraba, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Kaduna, and Zamfara, with moderate rainfall spreading across the northern region later in the day.<\/p>\n<p>Central states, including Abuja, are likely to experience intermittent showers, while persistent rainfall is expected across southern areas from Lagos to Calabar.<\/p>\n<p>NiMet advised residents of Anambra, Delta, Bayelsa, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom to brace for flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u2019s forecast includes morning thunderstorms in Taraba and Kaduna, with the weather system expanding to affect Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, and Kano.
