Ambassador Maureen Tamuno, Group Managing Director of Abuja Investments Company Limited (AICL), has commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his bold reforms aimed at transforming Abuja into an investment-friendly capital.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the Abuja Members\u2019 Evening of the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD), Nigeria, Tamuno praised Wike\u2019s infrastructural strides and emphasized the need for collaborative leadership to drive inclusive economic growth.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Reflecting on her diplomatic tenure in the Caribbean, she urged business leaders to help make Nigeria a country the diaspora would want to return to.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cBusiness leaders must develop industries, create jobs, and foster national prosperity,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
CIoD President Otunba Adetunji Oyebanji and energy executive Mrs. Rose Eshiett echoed the call for agile and inclusive leadership suited to Nigeria\u2019s evolving challenges.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, at a media parley organized by the FCT Malaria Elimination Programme and Malaria Consortium, health experts called for better awareness and uptake of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC), in Abuja.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dr. Olutomi Sodipo revealed that over 10,000 workers are currently deployed across all six Area Councils to administer antimalarial drugs to children during the peak transmission period.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
