Michael Oluwagbemi, delivered the opening address virtually.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized the need for stronger inter-agency collaboration to ensure the effectiveness of the NGVMS platform and to enhance safety, oversight, and transparency in Nigeria\u2019s growing CNG sector.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting brought together stakeholders from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), major CNG retailers, and PCNGI officials.<\/p>\n<p>A major highlight was the presentation of the newly developed CNG Inspector Module; an integral part of the NGVMS platform designed to support field compliance monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>The development team announced that pilot testing of the module would commence next week at four selected CNG retail outlets, marking a significant step toward a safer and more accountable CNG infrastructure nationwide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; By Samson Adeyanju Key industry players and regulatory agencies converged on July 17, 2025, for a stakeholders meeting focused on the rollout of the Nigeria Gas Vehicle Monitoring System (NGVMS), and the unveiling of a new CNG Inspector Module.
