{"id":70000,"date":"2025-07-08T14:39:50","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T14:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=70000"},"modified":"2025-07-08T14:39:50","modified_gmt":"2025-07-08T14:39:50","slug":"jamb-sets-2025-university-admission-cut-off-at-150","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/07\/08\/jamb-sets-2025-university-admission-cut-off-at-150\/","title":{"rendered":"JAMB Sets 2025 University Admission Cut-off at 150"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and heads of tertiary institutions have agreed on 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for university admissions in the 2025 academic session.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was announced on Tuesday during the 2025 JAMB policy meeting held in Abuja, with the board affirming that no university will be allowed to admit candidates who score below 150 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).<\/p>\n<p>Despite the general benchmark, top-tier institutions like the University of Ibadan, Pan-Atlantic University, and the University of Lagos set their cut-off at 200.
