{"id":69882,"date":"2025-07-07T13:09:17","date_gmt":"2025-07-07T13:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=69882"},"modified":"2025-07-07T13:09:17","modified_gmt":"2025-07-07T13:09:17","slug":"police-arrest-man-with-womans-body-part-rescue-kidnapped-driver-in-anambra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/07\/07\/police-arrest-man-with-womans-body-part-rescue-kidnapped-driver-in-anambra\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Arrest Man with Woman\u2019s Body Part, Rescue Kidnapped Driver in Anambra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Samuel Eze, for being in possession of a human breast.<\/p>\n<p>Police spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, revealing that the suspect was apprehended by joint security operatives on patrol at Jude Onyekwere Street, Awada, Obosi, on July 6.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered body part has been deposited at a morgue, while Eze is undergoing interrogation.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate operation, police rescued a kidnapped truck driver and recovered a consignment of custard powder worth N9.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Three suspects; Udegenyi Ugochukwu (38), Anayochukwu Okonkwo (47), and Good Odigili (47), were arrested.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects confessed to abducting the driver, tying him up in a bush, and diverting the truck from Delta State to Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra.<\/p>\n<p>Also recovered was an abandoned Toyota Sienna with registration number 736 JP and marked \u201cForum of Accountants Delta State,\u201d found during a police patrol on July 5 in Obosi.<\/p>\n<p>The command has urged anyone with proof of ownership of the recovered vehicle to come forward.<\/p>\n<p>Ikenga assured that joint security patrols will continue to ensure safety across the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, Samuel Eze, for being in possession of a human breast.
