Among the appointees are CP Naziru D. Abdulmajid, CP Bello Rasheed Afegbua, CP Dahiru Mohammed, CP Adebowale Lawal, and CP Ibrahim Gotan, each tasked with overseeing policing operations in their respective states.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, CP Eloho Edwin Okpoziakpo has been assigned to the Department of Training and Development at the Force Headquarters, while CP Olusegun Eyitayo Omosayin now heads General Investigation at the FCID Annex in Gombe.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the appointments are in line with the IGP\u2019s commitment to enhancing the operational capacity of the Nigeria Police Force through merit-based and goal-driven leadership.<\/p>\n<p>IGP Egbetokun reaffirmed the police force\u2019s dedication to protecting lives and property across Nigeria and called on citizens to support security agencies in the shared mission of combating crime and preserving peace and order.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Adewunmi Oluwaseun The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has urged newly deployed Commissioners of Police across the country to exhibit professionalism, integrity, and purposeful leadership in their new roles as part of efforts to strengthen internal security nationwide.
