{"id":69707,"date":"2025-07-04T12:10:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T12:10:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=69707"},"modified":"2025-07-04T12:10:38","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T12:10:38","slug":"mfm-offers-free-medical-care-eyeglasses-to-fct-residents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/07\/04\/mfm-offers-free-medical-care-eyeglasses-to-fct-residents\/","title":{"rendered":"MFM Offers Free Medical Care, Eyeglasses to FCT Residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Omoniyi David<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), AMAC\/ACO Regional Headquarters, Abuja, has conducted a free medical outreach for residents of Gbaupe, Gosa, and Barwa villages in the Federal Capital Territory.<\/p>\n<p>The outreach provided free tests for malaria, typhoid, HIV\/AIDS, packed cell volume, random blood sugar, and full blood count.<\/p>\n<p>Treatment was administered for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, STIs, gastrointestinal disorders, dental issues, and eye defects.<\/p>\n<p>Corrective eyeglasses were distributed, while severe cases were referred to tertiary hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to healthcare, the church donated food items including rice, beans, yams, and cooking ingredients to support families in need.<\/p>\n<p>Regional Overseer, Pastor Victor Aboluwade, said the gesture was part of the church\u2019s response to economic hardship, rising inflation, and a struggling healthcare system.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the initiative aligns with the Explosive Evangelism vision of MFM\u2019s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, to win souls and uplift lives.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday Ajimoko, Head of MFM\u2019s Hospital and Healing Ministry, noted that the outreach was designed to bring immediate relief and lasting impact to rural communities.<\/p>\n<p>Grateful residents commended the church for the timely intervention.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Omoniyi David The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), AMAC\/ACO Regional Headquarters, Abuja, has conducted a free medical outreach for residents of Gbaupe, Gosa, and Barwa villages in the Federal Capital Territory.
