Both brothers were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The severity of the crash and the subsequent fire initially made identification difficult.<\/p>\n<p>The devastating news has sent shockwaves throughout the global football community.<\/p>\n<p>Tributes from fans, teammates, and clubs have poured in, mourning the sudden loss of a beloved and talented player.<\/p>\n<p>Jota had only recently married his longtime partner, Rute Cardoso, on June 22, 2025.
