Iman Sulaiman-Ibrahim, FSI, commending her for her bold initiatives and leadership in advancing the cause of Nigerian women.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during the celebration of the World Union of Catholic Women\u2019s Organisations (WUCWO), Day in Abuja, the President of the CWOAA, Mrs. Ebele Lilian Okoye, assured the Minister that Catholic women in the Archdiocese stand firmly behind her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are solidly behind you,\u201d she said. \u201cGod bless you. Continue, no shaking. Our Honorable Minister, you have a listening ear, and that is what makes you a great leader. You will go far.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Okoye also praised the Minister\u2019s Special Adviser, Princess Jumai, for her role in offering constructive counsel to the Minister, describing her as a valued asset to the Women Affairs Ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The CWOAA President emphasized the vital role women play in the family, Church, and wider society.<\/p>\n<p>She urged women not to lose focus despite the current economic hardship, reminding them of their divine duty as \u201cprocreators\u201d and nation builders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter how hard the country becomes, we must not misbehave or lose our focus,\u201d she said. \u201cLet us return to the family, because from there the country will be okay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the ongoing constitutional review process by the National Assembly, Mrs. Okoye called on female political leaders to stay true to their identity and responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWomen can represent us well,\u201d she noted. \u201cBut when you go there, don\u2019t forget you are a woman. Don\u2019t go looking for what you shouldn\u2019t.
