{"id":69193,"date":"2025-06-27T10:58:36","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T10:58:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=69193"},"modified":"2025-06-27T10:58:36","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T10:58:36","slug":"kogi-empowers-2310-youths-with-cng-conversion-skills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/06\/27\/kogi-empowers-2310-youths-with-cng-conversion-skills\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogi Empowers 2,310 Youths with CNG Conversion Skills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Patrick Idowu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Kogi State Government has launched a training programme for 2,310 youths across its 21 local government areas in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), conversion technology.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing the initiative in Lokoja, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, described it as a strategic step to equip young people for Nigeria\u2019s transition to cleaner, sustainable energy.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with Sufpay Ltd, the programme aims to produce a new generation of skilled professionals ready for the evolving energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCNG is the future, and we are proud to be preparing our youths for it,\u201d Fanwo said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the initiative not only empowers youths economically but also serves as a proactive approach to addressing insecurity through productive engagement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis reflects Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo\u2019s commitment to youth development.
