This support is a way of saying: we see you, we value you, and we will always stand by you,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>The financial aid is part of LAWMA\u2019s structured welfare package, which includes accident compensation, insurance, health checks, and safety training.<\/p>\n<p>Gbadegesin emphasized that the initiative aligns with LAWMA\u2019s broader goals of social equity and inclusive governance.<\/p>\n<p>He urged sanitation workers to remain vigilant, especially in high-traffic zones and nighttime operations, while assuring continuous upgrades to health and safety protocols.<\/p>\n<p>The cheque presentation is one of several initiatives aimed at creating a safer and more dignified work environment for sanitation personnel across Lagos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Omoniyi David &nbsp; The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), has provided financial support to injured sweepers and families of deceased sanitation workers who died in the line of duty.
