Sprints, crosses, thrill and etched memories. Thank you FC Nantes, thank you Beaujoire. I leave with pride and a piece of this club in my heart,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Simon\u2019s move to Paris FC is reportedly valued at \u20ac7 million, marking the end of an era at Nantes where he made 201 appearances, netted 37 goals, and delivered 42 assists.<\/p>\n<p>A consistent performer, Simon played a pivotal role in helping the club avoid relegation and was key to their back-to-back Coupe de France final appearances in 2022 and 2023, clinching the trophy in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old brings a wealth of Ligue 1 experience to Paris FC as they gear up for their historic return to the French topflight after 46 years.<\/p>\n<p>His leadership and attacking flair are expected to be vital to the club\u2019s survival and growth in the coming season.<\/p>\n<p>Paris FC is also reportedly in talks with Congolese defender Chancel Mbemba, who is set to become a free agent when his contract with Marseille expires at the end of June.<\/p>\n<p>Simon\u2019s departure from Nantes marks the end of a celebrated spell in which he not only became a fan favorite but also a symbol of resilience and quality on the pitch.<\/p>\n<p>In the recently concluded 2024\/25 season, he contributed eight goals and ten assists, underlining his enduring impact.<\/p>\n<p>While his presence will be missed at the Stade de la Beaujoire, he leaves behind a proud legacy and now looks ahead to a fresh challenge in the capital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Njoku Chijioke Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has officially bid farewell to FC Nantes as he prepares to begin a new chapter with Paris FC.
