This NYSC health outreach is different. God bless them,\u201d Magaji said.<\/p>\n<p>He described the programme as timely and impactful, highlighting the community&#8217;s struggle with limited access to healthcare due to a lack of facilities and an overstretched health centre.<\/p>\n<p>He commended corps members not only for providing medical consultations and treatment but also for educating residents on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.<\/p>\n<p>During the outreach, residents received free consultations, essential drugs, and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>NYSC Director-General Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, represented by Dr Ahmed Ikaka, Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics, reaffirmed the scheme\u2019s commitment to supporting underserved communities through health-focused initiatives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu &nbsp; Residents of Gidan Mangoro have praised the National Youth Service Corps for offering free healthcare services to their community through its Health Initiative for Rural Dwellers.
