President Tinubu, known for his commitment to foreign direct investment in Nigeria, will lead the Nigerian delegation to deliberate on enhancing economic and business cooperation. The discussions will focus on concrete measures to stimulate investments in crucial sectors, including energy, trade, infrastructure, and new technologies.<\/p>\n<p>This conference coincides with the Fourth G20 Investment Summit, providing an opportunity for President Tinubu to further advance Nigeria&#8217;s mission for increased foreign direct investment. The visit underscores diplomatic reciprocity, reciprocating Chancellor Scholz&#8217;s recent visit to Abuja and Lagos.<\/p>\n<p>President Tinubu&#8217;s discussions with Chancellor Scholz in October emphasized the urgent need for more German companies to invest in Nigeria across various sectors such as transportation, mining, and energy. Nigeria remains Germany&#8217;s second-largest trading partner in Africa, with bilateral trade volume increasing from two to three billion Euros between 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Accompanying President Tinubu on this crucial mission are key members of his cabinet, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb.
