Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a deepened culture of democracy and development under his leadership.<\/p>\n<p>In a Democracy Day message issued in Abuja on Wednesday, Maikalangu praised the President for upholding the rule of law, promoting freedom of speech, and delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 26 years of our democracy, we are fortunate to have a leader like President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who has been part of this journey from the beginning,\u201d Maikalangu stated. \u201cHe has ensured that Nigerians experience the true meaning of democracy through good governance and development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The AMAC boss lauded Tinubu\u2019s inclusive leadership style, stressing that his administration listens to minority voices and encourages constructive criticism.<\/p>\n<p>He urged Nigerians to support the President\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he described as a symbol of progress for the nation.<\/p>\n<p>Maikalangu also hailed the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Minister, Nyesom Wike, for complementing Tinubu\u2019s efforts in transforming Abuja through infrastructure development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are lucky to have Barrister Wike working closely with Mr. President to drive development in the FCT.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, the capital city is witnessing massive infrastructural upgrades, all thanks to their visionary leadership,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Reaffirming his administration\u2019s commitment to grassroots development, Maikalangu assured residents of AMAC that efforts would continue to provide essential services and improve living standards across communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a council, we remain focused on delivering critical amenities and ensuring that no part of AMAC is left behind,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>As the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in AMAC, Maikalangu called on party members to remain united ahead of future elections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTogether, we will secure victory and sustain the progress initiated by President Tinubu\u2019s administration,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Oso Abidemi As Nigeria marked 26 years of uninterrupted democratic rule, the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon.
