{"id":67297,"date":"2025-06-04T11:53:38","date_gmt":"2025-06-04T11:53:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=67297"},"modified":"2025-06-04T11:53:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T11:53:38","slug":"tinubu-outperformed-obasanjo-jonathan-buhari-says-apcs-morka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/06\/04\/tinubu-outperformed-obasanjo-jonathan-buhari-says-apcs-morka\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu Outperformed Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari, Says APC\u2019s Morka"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Anifowoshe Oladipupo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has asserted that President Bola Tinubu has performed better than his predecessors, including former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, and Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Wednesday, Morka said Tinubu has redefined Nigeria\u2019s economic priorities and taken bold steps to address some of the country\u2019s most pressing challenges.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the President has chosen to pursue difficult but necessary reforms rather than seek short-term popularity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn two years, as I have maintained, President Tinubu has done more than all of the presidents before him in terms of reordering our national priorities and addressing some of the most serious challenges facing our economy,\u201d Morka stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is not focused on cheap popularity but is committed to taking the tough decisions that, while momentarily unpopular, are critical to the long-term health of our country\u2019s economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Morka also dismissed recent criticisms from members of the opposition, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the hue and cry from the opposition don\u2019t hold water,\u201d he said. \u201cNone of them has presented any concrete alternative or policy prescription different from what the President is doing.
