{"id":66545,"date":"2025-05-26T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=66545"},"modified":"2025-05-26T11:30:00","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:30:00","slug":"actor-hospitalised-after-shocking-on-set-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/05\/26\/actor-hospitalised-after-shocking-on-set-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"Actor Hospitalised After Shocking On-Set Attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Anifowoshe Oladipupo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What began as a routine movie shoot spiralled into real-life horror when Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe was brutally kicked in the chest by fellow actor Zubby Michael during an unscripted and unauthorised on-set altercation.<\/p>\n<p>The incident, captured on video and shared on social media Saturday, shows the shocking moment Zubby Michael leapt over a barricade and forcefully attacked Nnadiekwe before fleeing into a nearby building.<\/p>\n<p>The violent act was not part of the film&#8217;s script and had not been approved by the director.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring a scene, I received a kick to the chest from my colleague that wasn\u2019t part of the script or directed by the director,\u201d Nnadiekwe explained.<\/p>\n<p>The unexpected blow left the actor in excruciating pain, leading to internal bleeding that demanded immediate and costly medical attention.
