But behind the applause, questions swirl over its true impact and beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>FCT Minister Nyesom Wike presented the proposal on Wednesday, with over 72 percent allocated to capital projects-a sharp departure from the tradition of recurrent-heavy spending.<\/p>\n<p>Lawmakers from across party lines, including former critics like Senator Ireti Kingibe, commended Wike\u2019s aggressive infrastructure drive.<\/p>\n<p>Yet some voices suggest the bipartisan support may be rooted more in political alignment with the Tinubu presidency than in measurable outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>Doubts also remain over transparency, rising insecurity, and the unexplained N21 billion slash in personnel costs.<\/p>\n<p>Big figures.
