A routine police patrol in Lagos turned dramatic when officers from the Ebute Ero Division arrested Jackson Abraham in possession of a stolen car reported missing in Ogun State.<\/p>\n
According to the Lagos Police Spokesman, Ben Hundeyin, the suspect was intercepted while driving an ash-coloured Mitsubishi Space vehicle that had been stolen from a parking lot. Shockingly, Abraham and the car owner live at the same address.<\/p>\n
Preliminary investigations confirmed that Abraham took the vehicle without the owner’s knowledge.<\/p>\n
The car was recovered in good condition and returned to the station, while the owner, who had earlier filed a report in Ogun State, has been contacted and is cooperating with authorities.<\/p>\n
Abraham is currently in custody as plans are underway to transfer him and the vehicle back to Ogun State, where the theft was first reported.<\/p>\n
Lagos Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, reiterated his commitment to tackling vehicle theft across the state.<\/p>\n
