As punishment, the Dean allegedly kept them standing under rainfall until 7:00 p.m., refusing to let them rest or leave.

Videos and photos show exhausted students performing strenuous farm tasks and receiving verbal threats.

In a chilling audio recording obtained during this investigation, Professor Abanikannda lashed out at students for leaking information, saying, “You are leading rebellion… You will pay dearly.”

He also slammed their upbringing and discipline, suggesting they were not fit for university life.

Students further claim that failure to greet the Dean properly resulted in public scolding, adding that their performance scores are allegedly threatened with manipulation.

The Vice Chancellor of LASU, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has acknowledged the complaints, assuring that appropriate steps will be taken.

As calls for an independent probe grow louder, education advocates insist no student should be subjected to abuse in the name of academics.

For many, the LASU farm ordeal has exposed a deeper issue: unchecked authority and a growing disregard for student dignity.

By Adenike Lawal A storm is brewing at Lagos State University’s Epe campus as final-year students of the Faculty of Agriculture have accused their Dean, Professor O.T.F.
