Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, has recorded a landmark victory in its academic journey as the National Universities Commission grants full accreditation to eighteen of its programmes.<\/p>\n
The commendation follows a rigorous assessment by the Commission in October and November 2024, with formal confirmation delivered in a letter dated April 30, 2025, and signed by Acting Director of Accreditation, Abraham Chundusu.<\/p>\n
The green light spans a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including core disciplines like Law, Psychology, Civil Engineering, and Christian Religious Studies.<\/p>\n
Other accredited programmes include Computer Engineering, Geology, and several advanced business and education degrees such as M.Sc. in Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, and Education Technology fields.<\/p>\n
This feat comes shortly after the institution was named Nigeria\u2019s best state university in the Times Higher Education 2025 rankings\u2014a double honour that cements EKSU\u2019s rising academic profile.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the achievement, Vice Chancellor Professor Babatola Ayodele called it \u201ca dream realized,\u201d praising the dedication of both staff and leadership.<\/p>\n
He thanked key figures such as Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Chancellor Dr. Tunji Olowolafe, and Pro-Chancellor Professor Akin Oyebode for their unwavering support in steering the university toward global relevance.<\/p>\n
