Electra Motors is set to spark a new era of clean transportation in Nigeria with the launch of its Compressed Natural Gas Conversion Centre in Asaba, Delta State, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.<\/p>\n
Located at the company\u2019s flagship facility on Okpanam Road, the centre will serve as a major hub for converting petrol vehicles into cleaner and cheaper CNG-powered machines.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is more than a launch. It is a national call to cleaner energy and economic relief,\u201d said Charles Omordia, Founder and Managing Director of Electra Motors.<\/p>\n
The Asaba centre will handle conversions for tricycles, cars, and buses, offer technician training and certification, and run public awareness campaigns for drivers and transport unions.<\/p>\n
The initiative aligns with the federal government\u2019s Presidential CNG Initiative and aims to reduce emissions, lower fuel costs, and drive energy independence.<\/p>\n
Government officials, transport leaders, and energy innovators will witness a live demo and facility tour during the launch. Special offers are also on the cards.<\/p>\n
