{"id":65777,"date":"2025-05-15T12:50:34","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T12:50:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=65777"},"modified":"2025-05-15T12:50:34","modified_gmt":"2025-05-15T12:50:34","slug":"noa-praises-jambs-transparency-says-it-aligns-with-responsible-governance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/05\/15\/noa-praises-jambs-transparency-says-it-aligns-with-responsible-governance\/","title":{"rendered":"NOA Praises JAMB&#8217;s Transparency, Says It Aligns With Responsible Governance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Adenike Lawal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has commended the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board for its openness in addressing issues surrounding the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.<\/p>\n<p>Describing JAMB\u2019s honesty as a rare but admirable trait in public service, the agency said it reflects true leadership and a commitment to accountable governance.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued in Abuja, NOA\u2019s Deputy Director of Media and Communication, Paul Odenyi, praised the examination body for admitting operational lapses, noting that such transparency builds public confidence.<\/p>\n<p>NOA Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa Onilu, also lauded JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, for leading with integrity and upholding the ideals of the National Values Charter.<\/p>\n<p>He urged JAMB to back its transparency with swift corrective action to address the concerns of affected candidates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdmitting faults is the first step.
