{"id":65456,"date":"2025-05-08T04:06:41","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T04:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=65456"},"modified":"2025-05-08T04:33:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T04:33:41","slug":"toan-hails-tinubus-leadership-pledges-support-for-cng-rollout","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/05\/08\/toan-hails-tinubus-leadership-pledges-support-for-cng-rollout\/","title":{"rendered":"Tricycle Owners Hails Tinubu\u2019s Leadership, Pledges Support for CNG Rollout"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Ade Iyamoye<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN), has pledged full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Federal Government\u2019s push for clean energy through the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), initiative.<\/p>\n<p>In a keynote address delivered to the Honourable Minister of State for Labour and Employment and her team of professionals on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the Association\u2014representing tricycle owners across the 19 northern states\u2014commended the Tinubu administration for its bold economic reforms, democratic leadership, and dedication to service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on behalf of TOAN&#8217;s Executive National Chairman, Alhaji Tata Suleman, and the Central Working Committee, Mr. Augustine Aboapeh, National President of TOAN, praised President Tinubu\u2019s commitment to accountability and inclusive governance, describing him as an \u201cinspiration to the growing populace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are here to applaud Mr. President\u2019s unparalleled leadership and focused drive to reshape Nigeria\u2019s future,\u201d the statement read, adding that TOAN fully aligns with the national vision for a cleaner, more efficient transport sector through the Pi-CNG initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The Program Director of the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI), Engr.
