It also hosts refuelling points for natural gas vehicles, serving areas not linked to pipeline networks.<\/p>\n<p>The acquisition aligns with the Presidential CNG Initiative launched last year, a project aimed at cushioning the impact of fuel subsidy removal by promoting CNG as a cleaner and cheaper alternative to petrol.<\/p>\n<p>NGML\u2019s move is expected to speed up the spread of CNG infrastructure across the country, especially in the transport and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FCCPC, while the transaction may shift competitive dynamics, it ultimately promises broader consumer benefits through greater access to cleaner energy.<\/p>\n<p>Nigeria\u2019s CNG drive continues to gain momentum.
