With an effective public private partnership, we shall deliver the university of our dreams,&#8221; he declared, calling on stakeholders to embrace collaboration for the future of education in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The governor assured that the state would strengthen efforts to support teaching excellence, drive research, and enhance student learning.<\/p>\n<p>He praised DELSU Vice-Chancellor Samuel Asagba for the strides made in a short time and commended the university&#8217;s governing council for their dedication to building a globally competitive institution.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Pro Chancellor Alexander Ogomudia highlighted lingering challenges such as staff shortages and infrastructure deficits, including outdated lab equipment and poor water and power supply.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Oborevwori\u2019s call for private support signals a new push towards repositioning Delta\u2019s universities on the global academic map.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Oso Abidemi\u00a0 Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta has urged private organisations to join forces with the state government in tackling the pressing infrastructure challenges facing state-owned universities.
