{"id":64719,"date":"2025-04-24T10:57:17","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T10:57:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=64719"},"modified":"2025-04-24T10:57:17","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T10:57:17","slug":"blind-brilliance-501-set-for-2025-utme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/04\/24\/blind-brilliance-501-set-for-2025-utme\/","title":{"rendered":"Blind Brilliance: 501 Set for 2025 UTME"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Oso Abidemi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At least 501 blind candidates are gearing up to take the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), across 11 centres nationwide, as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), deepens its commitment to inclusive education.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Professor Peter Okebukola, Chairman of the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group (JEOG), disclosed this while addressing journalists ahead of the April 28\u201329 examination designed for candidates with special needs.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese candidates write the same test papers as their peers.
