{"id":64484,"date":"2025-04-20T05:28:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-20T05:28:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=64484"},"modified":"2025-04-20T05:28:37","modified_gmt":"2025-04-20T05:28:37","slug":"wike-vows-to-finish-key-abuja-rural-roads-in-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/04\/20\/wike-vows-to-finish-key-abuja-rural-roads-in-may\/","title":{"rendered":"Wike Vows to Finish Key Abuja Rural Roads in May"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Ifeoluwa Odunayo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has assured residents that two critical rural roads in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) will be completed and inaugurated by May.<\/p>\n<p>Wike gave the assurance on Saturday during an inspection tour of the 10.5km Kabusa-Ketti road and the 9.8km Kabusa-Takushara road, where he reaffirmed the FCT Administration\u2019s commitment to bridging the infrastructure gap between the city centre and underserved communities.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the road projects are part of President Bola Tinubu\u2019s inclusive development agenda and will be commissioned as a major highlight of his second anniversary in office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the president\u2019s directive\u2014to ensure no community is left behind.
