{"id":63980,"date":"2025-04-08T20:26:02","date_gmt":"2025-04-08T20:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=63980"},"modified":"2025-04-09T06:35:39","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T06:35:39","slug":"adesiyan-others-regain-freedom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/04\/08\/adesiyan-others-regain-freedom\/","title":{"rendered":"Adesiyan, C&#038;S Apostle Regains Freedom After Loosing Wife to Kidnappers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Ade Iyamoye\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a significant development, Mike Akinropo Adesiyan and two others, who were abducted have been released, bringing relief to their families, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (CSMC), Worldwide, Gethsemane Disrict Headquarters, Abuja and Chikakore Community.<\/p>\n<p>Adesiyan is a strong member of the CSMC and a Special Apostle and Pastor, whose work speaks volume.<\/p>\n<p>Adesiyan&#8217;s abduction occurred when his wife, and others including his brother were taken by unknown gunmen.<\/p>\n<p>Despite efforts by security agencies, Church and the community, the situation took a devastating turn with the murder of Mrs. Adesiyan.<\/p>\n<p>Last Sunday night, the remaining captives, including Adesiyan, were released.<\/p>\n<p>It is worthy to note that apart from Adesiyan&#8217;s wife who was killed, the abductors released others except a neighbour who was kidnapped with them same day.<\/p>\n<p>Inquiring details, a close source told <strong>Abuja City Journal<\/strong> that the details surrounding their release remain undisclosed, but there are indications that negotiations and pressure from law enforcement may have contributed to this outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The family, Church and community expressed a mix of relief for the return of the abducted individuals and profound grief for the loss of Mrs. Adesiyan.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Church held a thanksgiving service on their behalf, to thank God for bringing them back safely.<\/p>\n<p>As at the time of this report, Adesiyan have not made any official statement as he needs medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>Details of his ordeal would be made public as soon as he is fine and ready to speak.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ade Iyamoye\u00a0 In a significant development, Mike Akinropo Adesiyan and two others, who were abducted have been released, bringing relief to their families, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (CSMC), Worldwide, Gethsemane Disrict Headquarters, Abuja and Chikakore Community.
