{"id":63675,"date":"2025-04-02T11:18:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T11:18:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=63675"},"modified":"2025-04-03T04:39:45","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T04:39:45","slug":"tinubu-heads-to-france-for-strategic-working-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/04\/02\/tinubu-heads-to-france-for-strategic-working-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu in France on Working Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Patrick Idowu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Nigeria today for Paris, France, on a short working visit to assess his administration\u2019s midterm performance and review ongoing reforms.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu will use the retreat to evaluate key milestones and set strategic plans ahead of his second anniversary in office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis period of reflection will inform plans to deepen ongoing reforms and accelerate national development priorities in the coming year,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting recent economic gains, Onanuga noted that the Central Bank of Nigeria\u2019s net foreign exchange reserves have surged to $23.11 billion, a sharp increase from $3.99 billion in 2023.
