However, he never woke up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was around 7:28 am when those in charge of cleaning the mosque saw him lying there. They tried to wake him, but he did not respond,\u201d a resident, Ibrahim Musa, said.<\/p>\n<p>An alarm was raised, drawing the attention of Muslim elders who rushed him to the hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.<\/p>\n<p>His body was later handed over to his relatives for burial.<\/p>\n<p>The police in the area were not informed of the incident, while the FCT Police Command has yet to issue an official statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu A middle age man identified as Rayyanu was found dead inside a mosque in Paso community, Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory after observing the early morning Subhi prayer.
