{"id":62151,"date":"2025-03-05T11:16:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-05T11:16:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=62151"},"modified":"2025-03-05T11:16:49","modified_gmt":"2025-03-05T11:16:49","slug":"sen-mustapha-empowers-2500-champions-food-security-agenda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/03\/05\/sen-mustapha-empowers-2500-champions-food-security-agenda\/","title":{"rendered":"Sen Mustapha Empowers 2,500, Champions Food Security Agenda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Gabriella Ogbu\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To support agriculture and human capital development, Senator Saliu Mustapha (APC, Kwara Central) has empowered over 2,500 constituents with critical tools and resources, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s food security agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The event, tagged &#8220;Alubarika 1.0 Agricultural and Human Capital Development Empowerment Programme,&#8221; was held at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority in Ilorin.<\/p>\n<p>It drew top dignitaries, including Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, who praised Mustapha\u2019s commitment to grassroots development.<\/p>\n<p>Empowerment items distributed included tractors, deep freezers, grinding machines, tricycles, irrigation machines, scholarships for 200 students, fertilizers, farm inputs, and power transformers.<\/p>\n<p>Mustapha also highlighted the training of local artisans, including women, in solar panel installation and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is beyond politics.
