By developing local talent through specialized degree programs, we can manufacture high-quality furniture that meets international standards,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Organized in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, the expo provided a platform for industry experts, manufacturers, and enthusiasts to network and explore the latest trends in interior design and furniture.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kabir Mustapha, Director of Contact and Mobilization for the event, highlighted its alignment with the federal government\u2019s digital economy agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the first of its kind, this expo showcases our commitment to leveraging technology for growth and innovation in the sector,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>The event featured virtual exhibition booths, keynote sessions, and interactive workshops, reinforcing the push for a structured educational framework to sustain and expand Nigeria\u2019s furniture industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ade Iyamoye\u00a0 The maiden edition of the Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo has sparked calls for the inclusion of Furniture Manufacturing as a degree course in Nigerian universities.
